- Learn & practise the basic foundations of authentic emotional self-care
- Enhance your ability to connect with others
Emotional reactions that are an instinctive responses out of an unfinished traumatic experience are harmful to ourselves and others.
This workshop is to help people identify where in there lives the have unfinished issues with parts of themselves stuck in trauma trigger responds. And how to take steps to solve this issues.
I teach some basic foundations of authentic emotional caring for oneself and each other. How to deal with our social fears, thoughts and emotions (instead of resorting to substance abuse, which is often the consequence.)
By doing these work in groups we open a save space in which one can recognise that we often share the same “secrets”.
Secrets of shame, fear and self judgement that we avoid talking about and that keep these “demons” alive.
Through caring & sharing we disarm our own self judgements and we free ourselves and others.
This is a self-help tool that will bring along personal growth and enhance ones ability to connect with others. The workshop itself will create a deeper connection for those attending during the festival days.
The workshop can last anything between 30 and 120 minutes, averaging a timescale of 90 minutes.
The space provided can be set up by our crew, (we bring poles, fabrics, carpets and pillows to create a shadowed, cosy space) or it can be provided by the festival organisation. We need some shade and to be in a location that is not to loud, so we can talk to each other.
We suggest the workshop within morning hours, for example from 10am – 11:30am.
