Attachment or Gratitude?
The Buddhist always talk about the things we dislike and the things we are attached too as our traps of karma…. kind of.
Now I start to understand this a bit better. Especially the word attachment. It does not mean that you are not meant to feel “attached” to someone or something, if we think about the word attached as in loving and caring for someone/thing. But the moment we take anyone/thing for granted we are attached and we loose gratitude and when we loose gratitude we loose happiness.
I can much more agree with this now.
Self-critic/ Auto critica
Once I realized that it’s just me giving the self critic the position
it takes up in my life I claimed my power back just as I do with
my dog. I get him to be submissive, make sure he/she knows I am
the boss and he/she can walk close to me as my adviser and
protector, but I am the one who decideds what we are going
to do or not do.
The pain of the past was expressed, not always have my protectors
been as kind and gentle as I would have needed it, but that is gone
and they once were children too.
We all know the story. Important is to rediscover your power and
to learn to be in charged and responsible of all your aspects
including your self -critic AKA your adviser and protector.
Funny how my dog has been making me practice the procedures
over the last days, as if he knew I needed to practice 😉
